Meet Our Staff!
Lisa, R.N. - Nurse
Lisa is a Louisa native who has worked as a registered nurse (RN) and x-ray tech at LFP for 33 years. She previously worked as a cardiac nurse at UVA Medical Center and also as a CNA nursing instructor at Louisa County High School.
She enjoys reading, listening to classic rock, and spending time with her children and three grandchildren.
Linda - Receptionist
Linda is a Louisa native who has worked at LFP for the past 20 years as a front desk receptionist. She previously worked at Internal Medicine in Charlottesville. She has two children and three grandchildren who are the love of her life. She enjoys camping, decorating, and yard work - especially flowers! She’s been happily married for 28 years.
Beth, L.P.N. - Nurse
Beth has worked as a nurse for 28 years. She has worked in several different fields of nursing, geriatrics, mental health, school, and healthcare facilities. She found her love and passion for nursing while taking care of the elderly when she worked as a CNA.
Beth grew up in Guin, Al. and moved to Virginia in 2005. She has worked at LFP since 2010. She has a daughter and a son and one granddaughter. She enjoys decorating, antiquing, repurposing and crafts. Most of all, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Tonya, R.N. - LAB
Tonya has been a registered nurse (RN) for 26 years and has worked here at LFP for 22 years. She enjoys running the lab and teaching patients. She is a native of Louisa and has two sons and one fur baby. She also loves the beach!
Becky - Transcription
Becky has been working in the medical field for the past 24 years. She joined the practice after working 10 years in health and life insurance. She does mainly transcription and some administrative duties. She has enjoyed getting to know the patients over the years.
Becky grew up in Louisa County. She is married with two daughters and five granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, trail riding with her husband, going to flea markets and antique shops, and going to car shows with their antique vehicles.
Charlotte, L.P.N. - Billing
Charlotte is a Louisa native who has worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and limited radiologist technician at LFP for the past 33 years. She currently handles insurance at the office. She loves traveling.
Charlotte, R.N. - Nurse
Charlotte graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from UVA in 1992. She has worked in the hospital, outpatient clinic, private practice, and school settings while also taking some time off to raise her 3 kids. She joined LFP in May of 2019 and has enjoyed getting to work with so many great patients and co-workers.
Originally from Gretna, VA, Charlotte moved to Charlottesville with her family in 1986 and to Louisa County with her husband in 1992. She has 3 kids, two of whom are in college. When not at work, you’ll find her spending as much time as possible with her family and five dogs. She also enjoys attending her kids’ music and sporting events and playing piano with the worship team at Lake Christian Church in Palmyra, VA.
Robin - Billing
Robin has worked at LFP for 20 years. She worked at the front desk for 16 years and has worked in billing for the past 4 years. She is happily married and has three daughters who are all married. She has seven grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys camping, antiquing, and sightseeing.
Mary - Administrative Assistant/ Transcription
Mary grew up in neighboring Hanover County where she graduated from high school and went on to study business and graduate from Pan American Business School in Richmond. She moved to Louisa County after meeting and marrying her husband. They have one son, a daughter-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren. She loves Louisa County and is proud to call it her home. She has enjoyed all of the people she has had the opportunity to meet over the years through the doctor’s office. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant to Dr. Southall for 36 years. Her job includes administrative work, transcription, and bookkeeping for the practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys antiquing and traveling, but her favorite thing of all is spending time with her grandchildren, which is her biggest joy!
Cindy - Receptionist
Cindy is a Louisa native who has worked at LFP for the past four years as the front desk receptionist. She previously worked at Capitol One in Richmond for 20 years. She has one daughter and two fur babies and enjoys watching Hallmark movies and spending time with her friends.
Patricia - Receptionist
Patricia was born and has lived in Louisa County all her life. She graduated from Louisa County High School. She has served as retail pharmacy manager in the community for more than 16 years. She is excited to start her new journey with Louisa Family Practice and continue to serve her community.
